New Year’s Resolutions 2013 from Full Circle PR
Do you love the start of a new year? Blank slate, clean calendar, a “do-over,” if you will?
Whether or not you’re a fan of making New Year’s resolutions, I do think it’s refreshing to take some time to ponder the year ahead and set goals.
So, in honor of it being New Year’s holiday week, here are a few resolutions Full Circle PR has set for itself this year. Will you help hold us accountable? Check in with us from time to time to see if we’re following through on what we said we’d do.
Full Circle PR’s 2013 New Year’s Resolutions:
– Live the vision: as owners of Full Circle PR, Kim and I have grand goals for our shop. We know we’re the best at what we do, and we want everyone else to know that, too – from our clients, to our employees, to people we meet on the street. It might sound arrogant (I hope not), but we really believe we have a special set of skills to share with the world, and the results we generate for our clients prove it. We resolve to spend time every day doing something that helps communicate Full Circle’s PR vision with others.
– Become master time managers: we’ve spent a lot of time over the last few months challenging ourselves to “work smarter, not harder.” We’ve taken seminars to identify the time sucks that take away from meeting our larger goals, and we’re working hard to change old habits to help improve our time management. We resolve to not let email or social media monitoring overtake our day in 2013.
– Keep the eyes open wide, and the ears wider: We learned from Brains on Fire’s Robbin Phillips that we are “all in graduate school.” You’re never to old, or too experienced, to learn something new. We resolve to purposefully learn something new each day.
– Work hard, play hard: This is a carry over from 2012. We resolve to produce incredible work for our incredible clients in 2013. We also resolve to have fun while we’re doing it, and find joy in the small – and usually most meaningful – things.
2013 is already shaping up to be a wonderful year at Full Circle PR. We’ve welcomed a new team member, Erin; Caitlin celebrates her three-year anniversary as a member of our team; Mollie, Carolyn, Heather and Hannah are super stars doing exceptional work for their clients. Kim and I couldn’t be more proud of the team we’ve assembled, and we look forward to producing some stellar work this year.
Happy New Year to all of you, too. What are some of your resolutions, or goals for this year? We look forward to hearing from you.
