What is the future of architectural lighting?
If you keep up with the FCPR team, chances are you know that several of our clients play a part in the architecture and design industry. And through media relations, events and social media activities, we help connect them with the audiences that matter to their businesses.
One of these audiences is the student and young architect community. This up-and-coming group has big ideas for the future – and it”s important for us to tap into their ideas and establish relationships with them early in their careers. One of our current efforts is through a Facebook promotion with Prescolite – The Future of Architectural Lighting.
Between now casino and Friday, April 6, architecture students may submit their answer the question “What is the future of architectural lighting?” in three sentences or less. Following a brief judging period, we”ll offer one winner their choice of a student conference pass to Lightfair International (a widely attended event for the architectural lighting industry) or a $150 Visa gift card. We designed the promotion to cater to a student”s capabilities and interests – and we look forward to seeing their insightful responses.
To those of you who manage social media-hosted promotions for brands, what lessons or tips do you have to share? What have you learned along the way about timelines, prizes and barriers to entry? I would love to continue the conversation about promotion best practices.
