Applying research to drive your social media content strategy

With many different ways to measure social media, it is easy to get lost in the numbers and not truly utilize into what the numbers mean.

Let’s cut to the chase.

What good is research if you don’t apply it?  It’s meaningless.  I know it seems that applying research should be second-nature, but you would be surprised how often it is not.

One easy way to apply it is to do is let research drive your social media content strategy.

Interpret your research to develop your social media content strategy off of the most engaging topics your target market is interested in.  Assess what types of content have been the most successful and interactive and use that type of content to drive future conversations.

This will provide more relevant talking points between brands and consumers, putting readers well on their way to becoming loyal advocates – the most wanted type of consumer.  Before you know it, they will be sharing your social media content and your web presence and awareness will skyrocket.

If you learn from your research, conduct it often and apply it to future strategies, your business, social media presence and readers will thank you.
