Komen Night at the Drive
We have the great fortune to serve as the PR resource for S.C. Mountains to the Midlands Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Last night, this group hosted Komen Night at the (Greenville) Drive to raise awareness of the efforts about breast cancer research and support programs, as well as celebrate survivorship.
Everyone came decked out in their finest pink ensembles (even the mascot, Reedy Ripit, sported a pink jersey!). Kimberly Kelly, host of WSPA TV’s “Your Carolina with Jack and Kimberly” and “Scene on 7” interviewed survivors as they walked down the pink carpet. And there was a table set up for people to register for the Race for the Cure, to be held on Sept. 24 at Fluor Field at 8 a.m. (you’re signed up to race, right?).
We had a great time, and are gearing up for the Race for the Cure in September. Please help us support the cause and sponsor our team, The Pitch Witches, as we race to fight against breast cancer!
Here are a few photos from last night’s event. Cheers!
