Aveda’s Social Media Case Study

I love a good case study, especially when it comes to social media promotions. It’s so helpful when people share experiences, challenges and lessons learned.

Last week I noticed someone shared  this link on Twitter with the following message, “How Aveda Avoided a Social Promotion Backlash.” (Talk about a “Twitter Worthy” headline!)

If you don’t have time to read this excellent article, I thought I would include the following key points:

  • Keep open lines with your audience
  • Be flexible and transparent
  • Have an offline solution
  • Start online promos on Monday, if possible

I’m on the hunt for more social media case studies – particularly successful ones that had the goal of increasing traffic to booths at trade shows.  Got any to share?? 🙂
